Karate

Today we had a karate instructor visit the school. We learned some new skills and they taught us some new moves. We had a great time.

Numbers to 20

We have been learning to recognise and count numbers to 20. We have a song and a dance that helps us to remember them. here are some pictures of us doing our dance. We think it is a fun way to learn our numbers.

Caterpillars

In science we have been taking care of caterpillars and recording how they are developing. Here is what has happened to them so far! Remember to come back and visit later to see them as butterflies!

Here we are using money to but things in our shop. We are having great fun!

Seaside Shop

We are creating our very own seaside shop. We painted some things to sell in our shop. It was great fun and we were taking our time to paint in the lines.

Reciprocal Reading

In Primary one we have been working on our reciprocal reading skills. We read "Little Mouse Deer and the Crocodile". We were able to make predictions and ask questions to find out more about the story. We then had to use illustrations and sentences to summarise the story. Here are some of the finished results.
