Struay Cottages

We were learning to draw from observation. We had a look at the cottages on Struay and then tried to draw our version of them. We used a range of media including pens, crayons and paint. We hope you like our Struay cottages!

We were learning how to write descriptions of people. We had to tell people about Katie Morag. We used our phonic skills to try and sound out words and attempt to write them. Some words were tricky words and we had to get help from the teacher!

Katie Morag

We looked at what Katie Morag looked like and the things she wore. We learned that her skirt was called a kilt and the pattern was tartan. We designed our own tartan for Katie Morag and used felt tip pens, wool and scissors to createour own versions of Katie Morag.

SCIAF Update

Friday was our cinema afternoon. The children had great fun getting together to watch a movie with some popcorn! Thank you to everyone who contributed to make this a great success!
