Wacky Hair Day

Primary 1 joined in Wacky Hair Day to raise money for SCIAF. Here are our wacky pictures!

SCIAF

During Lent the pupil council are trying to raise money for SCIAF. The whole school are helping us do this. We started off by selling pancakes on Pancake Tuesday. We have already raised £25! The good news is that the government will match our donations pound for pound! Below you can see some of the pictures from our first event as well as a list of upcoming events. Paisley Pattern

Whilst some of the class were designing their own Paisley patterns, others were busy making shawls with the Paisley pattern on it. We useed sponges and paint to create a shawl for the Paisley Panda to wear!

Writing

We were using our blending skill to try and write a sentence. We wrote about a trip to somewhere nice in Paisley. Here are some examples of our work. We hope you enjoy reading them!

We were learning all about the history of our home town Paisley. We learned all about the mills and the weavers and all about the Paisley pattern. Here are some examples of the work we completed to show how creative we can be!
